ED 495 Trauma Informed Leadership in Education

Trauma is a prevalent condition in educational environments that impacts students, educators, and administrators in varied ways. In this course, we will work to construct a complex and multidimensional understanding of trauma and how it operates at the level of individuals, groups, and systems in the context of educational environments. This course responds to a central question—how might trauma manifest in educational environments (K-12 and higher education) and what does this mean for our work as leaders within these systems?
